My name is Michelle Hyams-Parish and I offer Counselling and Supervision from my practice based either in London, EC2M 4NS opposite Liverpool Street Station and Broadgate or Epsom, Surrey KT17 3DT.
As a fully trained experienced psychodynamic counsellor in a successful private practice I can offer you the opportunity to explore and work through difficulties that you may be encountering within a safe, comfortable and containing environment. From an empathic, trained perspective, we can work through issues and anxieties together to develop a greater understanding of yourself and the relationships you have both personally and work related.
When you have problems or are in distress it helps to talk about it and there is plenty of evidence to suggest that psychological therapy works.
As a member of the BACP I am committed to working to their ethical code and guidelines. This includes the rule of confidentiality where no details will be given to a third party (e.g. employer, doctor or anybody else) except in exceptional circumstances such as child protection.

TAKING THE FIRST STEP
It may feel incredibly difficult to pick up the phone and make the first appointment. I am more than happy to receive an email so that we can take those first steps towards making an initial appointment.
In our first appointment together we can discuss what has brought you to counselling and I will ask you some details about your background and situation. This time will allow us both the opportunity to see whether counselling is suitable for you, as well as some insight as to how you may experience therapy and how it might be like for us to work together.
Appointments are available early morning, evenings and weekends.
